Unlike
other groups that you may have been to, this is a very friendly,
non-cliquish, atmosphere. You will be made to feel right at home.
Our
meeting/mixer alternates between an occasional party in a private
home in the East Bay, Hollywood Billiards and The Great Entertainer
in San Francisco.

Regular
Guys: Year 5 started with even
better events… and that includes our
new, improved monthly meeting. We’ve gotten lots of comments over
the years about the meeting with many guys saying they want something
a little more social (translation: food and drink) and less sterile.

Our biggest
event in terms of attendance is our monthly mixer. We usually have
our new member orientation first and then have the mixer. This is
the place to discuss event ideas and to catch up on what other members
have been up to.
Hollywood
Billiards, on Taylor near 6th & Market in SF doesn’t look like
much on the outside, but it’s a funky (yet clean) old pool hall
with lots of character and a private room which we rent with several
pool tables and a separate sound system. Hollywood Billiards is
2 blocks from Bart/Muni in either direction (Powell or Civic Center),
and there are numerous parking lots (it’s down the street from the
Golden Gate Theater).
The Great
Entertainer on Bryant and 7th is a hip, modern SOMA all encompassing
entertainment center. We have a private room with our own waiter.
Full bar and grill, pool tables and ping pong, table hockey, darts
and foosball.

places are very, very cool – total "guy" kinda places, and we think
you’ll like it. We make the usual introductions and announcements,
food and drink is available for purchase, and no, you don’t have to
play pool to show up. It’s going to be like an extra party on the
calendar each month.
